FOODIE FRIDAY Frugal Friday Menu

This week we are stretching $$$$

We have all been there... hmm what is in the pantry?

What can I make this week with what I have?

Here is my plan for the week

Breakfasts

Leftover Orange chicken THMS
Josephs Pita Pizza THMFP
Chopped egg white with light mayo on 1/2 josephs wrap THMFP

Snacks

Apple slices with peanut butter and zero greek yogurt

SO Simple Fuel Pull Sloppy Joes

Yum Just In time for your memorial Day Barbecue !!!

Printable recipe Below 
An Easy Fuel Pull barbecue sandwich for your Memorial day weekend and beyond!
lean turkey OR

Lean Ground beef OR
Or Regular Hamburger (You will need to drain well, rinse with warm water and pat dry with paper towel regular Hamburger)


Season with  garlic Powder , onion powder, Sea Salt , and pepper.
You can also add a few chopped onions, peppers,celery, and mushrooms or vegetable seasoning blend.

Drain Well, Don't forget to rinse and pat dry if you are using the non-lean hamburger and want to keep this in a fuel pull category.


I put mine in the crock pot, but you could a yours to a saucepan if you prefer.
Add the following slim Belly jelly from page 88 in the cook book or home made FP Jelly or Jam 

Here is one from counting it all joy similar to the FP Jam I make or you can buy some

 here
 I highly recommend getting the cook book has a lot of family friendly recipes in it! 

add 2 tsp Garlic Powder
Garlic powder or here 
1Tblsp Onion Powder
Available Here or here

3 tablespoons yellow Mustard

*2 Tsp Liquid smoke
Available here
 2 Tbsp Paprika
Available here
                                                                *1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
Mix well Let cook on low in the crock pot about 2 hours stirring ocassioanlly  

Serve on  Nukes Bread roll

or cloud bread to keep it a fuel pull .


Sharie's Sweet and EASY FP BBQ

Ingredients

Lean Ground Beef or Turkey
garlic power 
onion powder
Paprika
Liquid Smoke
Yellow Mustard
tomato paste
slim belly jelly or low carb jelly
Low carb buns , nukes buns, wraps or lay on a bed of lettuce or lettuce wrap


Method

Start with Lean ground Beef or turkey or regular Hamburger.Season with  garlic Powder , onion powder, Sea Salt , and pepper.

3 Tbsp mustard
1 Tbsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder, 
2Tbsp paprika 
2 tsp liquid smoke 
1 Tbsp tomato paste

**You could substitute 5 Tblsp of this for the liquid smoke and tomato paste

New crockpot fajitas Recipe from the new cook book

Peppers and onions were on sale last week at my Aldis so
The new recipe I am trying from the cookbook is crockpot fajitas page 53.
I am making the S version using leftover rotisserie chicken instead of chicken breast.
Since this ups the fat and calories I  will not be adding  butter to the recipe, but you can. It will still be an S and on plan.
I pulled the leftover chicken off the rotisserie chicken and added it to the crockpot on top of the peppers and onions, because the chicken is already cooked.
I followed the remainder of the directions in the new cookbook on page 53.
This makes enough for leftovers to freeze . I love it!!!
